2010 Belly Dance Photos

2010 has been a great year for Dance99. We have been invited to numerous dance parties and corporate events over the year and we have also started classes in Tanjung Tokong, Sg. Ara and just recently, Pulau Tikus! We have also organized our first belly dance workshops with Karen Madrid in November 2010 and we hope to bring in more Belly Dance masters to Penang in hope to bring this art to a greater height in Northern Malaysia. The sweetest moment for us was, we got the Champion title in the 2010 Malaysia Open Dance Fest - Intermediate Individual (Crystal) Belly Dance competition!

Just to share the joy of dancing, below are some of our favourite photos captured last year by CK Ng. For more photos, please go to CK's Smugmug photo gallery!

Incorporating New Classes

As of April 2010, due to popular demand, Dance99 has decided to extend its classes to include belly fitness for those who seeks to workout as well as learning some belly dance movements, and technique and drills for those who wishes to improve and sharpen their technique. Both of these classes are multi-levels and is suitable for a total beginner or a seasoned dancer. No choreographies will be taught. For more information on these classes and where they are taught, please go to the Classes page.
